3/15/2023 0 Comments Nikkormat serial numbers![]() ![]() I'm not at home where I can consult my ever-handy old Cooper & Abbot guide, but on the Photomic FTn finder, if you push up on the coupling prong in the meter (the one that engages the "rabbit ears" on the lens, it will remain retracted, and this will allow stop-down metering for any lens that lacks a meter coupling. With regard to the 50, if you mean that when it is wide open you can still see some of the diaphragm, this is normal. I thought the Nikomat was supposed to work down to F32 too, so I wonder if there is a problem with the camera, or if for some reason the 55/3.5 differs. A Photomic FTn will allow stopping all the way down to F32, at least mine does with the 105/2.5.
